What is Yellow Fever?
- Yellow fever is a viral disease transmitted by infected mosquitoes.
- Caused by a flavivirus, mainly found in Africa and South America.
- Disease severity ranges from mild fever to severe liver disease with bleeding.
- Spread through bites of infected mosquitoes (primarily Aedes species).
- Not spread directly person-to-person.
- Risk higher in: Tropical and subtropical regions, Unvaccinated travelers.
- Incubation Period: Typically 3–6 days after infection.

- Severe headache
- Back pain, body aches
- Nausea and vomiting
- Fatigue and weakness
